When handling aggressive chemical media, coated fittings are the only solution as high-alloyed stainless steel is not suitable for the application under these extreme conditions.

The PTFE coating is non-conductive, but only the product contacting parts of the fittings are coated. Thus, the electrical conductivity of the hose line is still guaranteed.
